I, Raymon Fong & Our Nations Empire has enter this years 9th Annual Independent Music Awards in song the categories of Social Action and Love Song. Submission will include “Lost Years” and “Rotting Hills” (from the “Relay” album) they will represent the song selection for the Social Action category. For the category of  Love Song, “Beautiful Sea” (unreleased) and “Last Call” (from the “Relay” album).

Category of Social Action:

“Lost Years” (“Relay” album)
This song is about social and political failures that happens through our daily lives…. To wake up every day to years of uncertainty makes us want to shut our eyes and forget about the next years to come.

“Rotting Hills Part I & II” (“Relay” album)
This song  is about the price of greed that has risen to insurmountable level. This is a song about the have-less looking for their way to be accepted into an unforgiving society by teaching the haves what they can learn about the world they live in. To be part of the world instead of destroying it.

Category of Love Song:

“Beautiful Sea” (unreleased)
A true love song written for someone I once had affection for.

“Last Call” (“Relay” album)
A song written not for the love of someone but for the love and passion for my music. After reading the lyrics the song also may also be interpreted to the situation of guiding the person you love into the right hands of your affection.
